AUGUST 27, HOLIDAY!

August 27 is special non-working day. Malacañang on Wednesday announced that Monday, August 27, will be a special non-working day to commemorate National Heroes' Day.
The holiday was traditionally celebrated every last Sunday of August. Republic Act 9492, however, moved some holidays to the nearest Monday.
